In a heartbreaking incident that unfolded in Mukono, a devoted soldier identified as LT Cpl Kundo Obedi serving in the UPDF tragically lost his life in a motorcycle crash. The unfortunate incident also resulted in injuries to two individuals involved in the accident while driving Toyota Gaila
The incident occurred in the along Mukono Kayunga Road Town casting a somber shadow over the community. According to Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson Mr Patrick Onyango , Lt Cpl Kundo soldier, was traveling on his motorcycle when the accident occurred.
Unfortunately, the collision proved fatal for the brave soldier, leaving behind a void that will be deeply felt within the UPDF ranks and beyond.
The two individuals identified as Egyptians by nationality who were also involved in the in the collision sustained injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.
Their conditions are being closely monitored as they undergo treatment, and we fervently hope for their swift recovery.
